Campus Path
Today we did a run on campus that turned out to be a solid 6:50 pace in the end for 45 min. After everyone seemed to be dishearten from yesterday's run this was a great pick-me-up. The feeling of running within yourself is so important for us to remember out here. Just because one of us feels great doesn't mean you have to make yourself feel like shit on the day and probably the next just to hang with them. I struggle with this myself, but running your own pace and letting your body take care of the rest yield great results. If you feel good go for it, if not save it for when you do. We had previously planned to take it very easy today, but the whole group felt good and we adjusted. I think that is important not to get so locked into a training plan. Listening to our bodies is going to be the key to success out here.
