Long Run
Today was our long run day, however I only ran with Sam, Bobbie, and Jeff because Wally and Max had to work at 7:45 so they were up at a hellish hour to do their run. We meet up with Jeff at the Bobolink Trail head and set off. The pace is very relaxed and feels great for the first portion of the run. We continue to talk and take in the scenic views as we eventually roll to about a 7:05 pace. Eventually we get to the South Boulder Creek Trail and head into a valley. But what goes down must come up and we begin to run into a head wind and climb a hill. It is here that the rest of the group turns back and I decided to continue on and hit the Mesa Trail for a bit. It is a steep up hill climb and and I felt really good doing it. On the way back I really picked up my clip and had a fast run back by myself. It was a great way to finish up a smooth 90 min run.
