Running in Boulder

It has still taken some time for us to get used to the altitude, but thus far running has been going great. Today we ran on the Boulder Creek Path into the mountains. It is a decent uphill the entire way, so on the way out we all were a little tired but the way home was fast and fun. The trails are beautiful, we run next to rapids on one side, and a mountain face on the other. It is just unreal. Max, Wally, and I all did 45 min at a nice even pace and then Sam went on to run an hour for the day. Bobbie took the day off to further get acclimated and rest his legs. The running group has been pretty good so far, we just have to make a conscious effort to run at a steady even pace. But, for now it is early June, and we are all just trying to find our way back into the groove of easy milage.
