After the run all of us packed into Wally's car and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was sooo much fun. Wally drove like a champ up and down the windy and windy roads. Haha that is a great use of "windy". Anyways, we started off by going into this little valley called "Hidden Valley" and followed a creek up a path. As we walked we decided to grab a drink from the creek itself. The water was moving very fast off of rocks and was very clean and drinkable. It was probably the best water I have ever drank. It was ice cold and delicious. We then continued our quest up the mountain and stopped periodically to take in the amazing views. At the top it was freezing cold and there was lots of snow, so naturally we build a snow man in June. It was great. We then packed it in and headed back for 811 marine exhausted and ready to rest. It was a great day.

Rocky Mountain and Running
Today, we woke up at 730 and ran on the path that follows the Boulder campus. Wally and me Had 65 min today, and the other guys were all in the range of 40-50 min. It was really windy out but the run was still very nice. We went out at a slow and relaxed clip, and then began to pick it up after about 10 minutes in. Before long everyone else had turned back and Wally and I continued on. We ran until we hit 32 and a half and then turned for home. The way back was up hill and into the wind to it was much harder, nonetheless we still made it back a min early. We were both pretty tired, but it was a good run and we both felt pretty good about it.
